Hakgala Botanical Garden

There are five Botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. Hakgala is one of that five gardens that you will find when you travel in Nuwara Eliya. It is the highest set of Botanical garden in the world. You will need a couple of hours to visit the garden. The park is so peaceful and covered with various flowers. If you are enjoying the plants and flowers, this is the best place. There you will find lots of paths to wander on. This garden is first as the cinchona plantation. It was established in 1860 and located 10km about the Badulla road. Sure, to go there and feel the natural beauty while travel in Nuwara Eliya.

Moon plains are one of the best mountain areas in Sri Lanka. You can have the best panoramic view here. Mini Worlds End is the major attraction area here. It is a vast area with many animal species, such as buffaloes, wild boars, and many birds. It is located about 2.5km far from the Nuwara Eliya. From that viewpoint, you can see all nine peak points in Sri Lanka. Moon plains is a must-visit place when you travel in Nuwara Eliya. Here you have a massive responsibility for nature.

One of the places you must see, Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. You must visit this place if you travel in hill country.
Best enjoyed in the early hours from 6 AM onward, One of the most protected national parks. You might not see a lot of animals, but it is full of eye-catching places. Mini World's End, Greater World's End, Chimney Pool, and Baker's Falls located inside of this park.
 Horton place is natural heaven on this earth. Before the entrance, They will check what you take with you at the door, so be aware that no plastic bags, no cigarettes, lighters.
You can take plastic bottles but without labels. You can reach Horton Plains by any vehicle. One of the best place to travel.

Aberdeen Falls

Fantastic view and photo-friendly location. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. Aberdeen Falls located in Ginigathhena. There are 59KM from the Nuwara Eliya. You Can reach any vehicles for this incredibly beautiful place. You have to walk about 800m from the main route straightforward to achieve.
When you get closer to the falls, that feelings can't describe. That's awesome. Aberdeen Falls has 98 m (322 ft) height. If you are travel in there, please do not pollute the pristine water, and Please Don't Bring and leave your stuff there. Avoid bathing when there is rain uptown as it can result in flash flooding

Lover’s Leap waterfall

Lover's Leap waterfall is One of a fantastic waterfall in Sri Lanka.
Google maps don't show the exact location, so it would be best to ask someone from the village. They will show you the way to the falls.
After Hiking for around 15 minutes, you can reach the fantastic and beautiful waterfall. Also, you can get a nice city view. Be careful when you were walking on the wet rock.
You will meet a small Hindu temple before you get the Lover's Leap waterfall if you like. You can go there while you are going to the waterfall. Lovers Leap falls is the primary water source of Nuwara Eliya. Lover's Leap waterfall is an excellent place to visit when you travel in Nuwara Eliya.
