When you visit Nilaweli don't forget to visit this island too. Pigeons Island is a must-visit place in Trincomalee,Sri Lanka. tIt's guaranteed that you can see a lot of beautiful fishes and corals there.

You have to take a 15min. you can Boat ride to the island. It's an underwater paradise with a rich diversity of coral reefs and coral fish. It is a national marine park and the second marine sanctuary in Sri Lanka. It's an ideal place for snorkelers and scuba divers. This park is about five hectares of land area and situated near to the Nilaweli beach. You can have beautiful views here. There are approximately 100 types of coral reefs and 178 species of fish. KONESWARAM KOVIL

Koneswaram Kovil is One of the essential Ancient Hindu temples on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. It has a story with king Ravana, its very clam you can have  excellent, most beautiful  sea views from the small mountain.
This Kovil built on the edge of a beach cliff. You can easily find deers and peacock casually moving along with the peoples.

MARBLE BEACH

Marble Beach is Calm and clean beach on the east coast in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. It is a stunning beach with a shallow sea up to a long-distance, so you don't have to worry about safety. Also, in a case, there are Sri Lankan Navy lifeguards around at all times. The air force team maintains this.
